An array of talented and experienced guest musicians also lend a hand on Absolution, spicing up the instrumental solos and backup vocals with their own signature contributions.

For example, the effortless lead guitar work of Jerry Battista, named Best Guitarist 2010 by Seattle Weekly, is featured on the songs Dotted Line, Sixty Candles, and America. An experienced blues/rock and roots guitarist, Battista has been the featured lead guitarist in the Seattle band The Dusty 45s for over eight and a half years. Formerly a member of several top Northwest bands, including Edison Jones, as well as the Allies, Coast of Mercy, and Babes in Boyland with Adamek. Battista continues to be a popular draw in clubs throughout the Northwest.

Roger Fisher, the original founding lead guitarist of the iconic 70s and 80s band, Heart, and a treasured jewel in the Seattle rock music scene, who is working on releasing his own solo CD this year as well, plays the haunting lead solo in Southbound Train.

Don Wilhelm, also a multitalented studio and live musician and longtime veteran of the Seattle music scene, was an original member of the Army (a forerunner of Heart). Although he currently performs as bassist and vocalist with the effortlessly toe-tapping folk/rock and blues band The Daily Flash, Wilhelm graciously lends a hand with his Don Henley-esque backup vocals on Dotted Line.

With the solid foundation of so many experienced musicians and the magic touch of Adamek’s production, Absolution combines original songwriting with lush production values that evoke the power of 1980s rock with a modern eccentricity that makes this CD highly listenable from beginning to end.
